Come and join Oakmeadians Ladies RFC, whether you have experience or not, new players are always very welcome.

Oakmeadians Ladies RFC is a highly successful ladies rugby team playing in Championship South West Two. We have been in this league for the past two years, with the team finishing a competitive third in the 2007/08 season.

We are based in Bournemouth town centre and play and train at Meyrick Park. Training falls on a Wednesday night from 6.30pm and matches are scheduled for Sundays. We are currently coached by John Ackerman, who is vastly experienced and a real asset to the team, having coached the Royal Navy, the England set up and various squads over the country throughout his coaching career.

Apart from our 15s team we have established ourselves this season as an effective 7s squad. Entering a number of tournaments over the country and entering into the 7s carnival spirit. We were plate winners at Bournemouth, Windsor, Bath and Nottingham and semi finalists in the Lychett 7s tournament.
